Public Notice: Intent to Apply for the FY 2026 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Grant

Boys & Girls Club of Lake County (BGCLC) is announcing its intent to apply for funding under the FY 2026 Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Program, administered by the Illinois State Board of Education.

If awarded, this grant will allow BGCLC to continue providing high-quality after-school and summer programs that promote academic success, health and wellness, leadership development, and workforce readiness for students in Waukegan, North Chicago, and Gurnee.

The proposed program will serve students from local partner schools, including elementary, middle, and high school sites within these districts. BGCLC will collaborate with school and district leaders to identify students most in need of academic support and enrichment opportunities.
